The Notebook: Movie Review
The Notebook, based on a best selling novel by Nicholas Sparks, is one of the greatest love stories ever made. It is a story about a young boy and girl, Noah (Ryan Gosling) and Allie (Rachel McAdams) and their firey summer romance that turned into so much more. After Allie's high class parents seperate the two soulmates they both struggled and things changed over the years. Allie soon found a high class man, perfect in her parents eyes, and fell in love. Right as things were working out perfectly she came across her old love Noah and things began to heat up. She now has to make a desicion between the two men, will she pick the gentleman who gives her everything she needs and her parents love, or her first love that she hasn't seen in years?

Haha I never understood why girls liked this movie so much. Never really looked into it even though I had many chances to watch it. Sounds like a decent movie maybe a bit chick-flicky for me. Good review makes me want to watch it now, just once though i swear. Good review.
ReplyDeleteI absoluley love this movie! It is the sweetest love story ever though I don't know how realistic it really is :( We need more men like Noah!!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy reading Nicholas Sparks novels and then seeing the movies. Sometimes they are really different from the books and sometimes they are not. However, I have not had the chance to read this book but I know there is a second one to it and by watching the movie I would have never thought there would be. I really enjoyed reading your review, it makes me want to watch the movie right now.
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with this movie the first time I watched it. It's the the perfect romance film, sad, yet cute. I think that this is one of the best movies of all times and everyone should watch it at least once.
ReplyDeleteSo should I read it or see it first?
