The Time Traveler's Wife romance movie trailer is made up of a mix of video clips from the movie used to describe the plot. Along with the dramatic backgroud music, this movie trailer pulls you in with a longing to see how things end up. It starts of by introducing the main male (Henry) and female (Clare) characters then showing how a man disapears into thin air. It continues to describe how Henry time travels without control and shows video clips with audio explaining the hardships of a relationship with someone who leaves uncontrollably for long periods of times and how they fight to keep things strong as their world falls around them.

Erica, when I first saw this movie trailer I wanted to see the movie so bad. Exactly for all the reasons you stated. It looked like a love story about two people who had to separate against their will and were trying to keep their relationship strong. Yet I must say that I went to see the movie on my birthday and I was disappointed. I did not like the fact that she would see him when she was young or that the baby “time traveled” out of here. I like movies that are somehow realistic and we all know that that is NOT realistic. But the movie otherwise was good but not fantastic as I thought it would be.
ReplyDeleteThat seems like a very good movie, I too want to see it badly now. I've never seen the trailer to this movie before, however, since I now have watched it and you explained it thoroughly it is very intriguing and keeps you wondering how the movie will be like. It has its sad moments but overall seems like it will be good and serve a purpose.
ReplyDeleteI read the book the Time Travelers Wife and was dissapointed when I finally saw the movie. I agree with Victoria that when i saw the movie trailer i thought the movie was going to be this mysterious love story like the book. When i saw the movie the director had changed alot of the events that had happend in the book. I also did not like that Claire's baby could time travel like her father, it just showed that Claire would constantly have problems with her loved ones disapearing.

ReplyDeleteThis movie sound interesting to me mainly because of the time traveling. :) I have also been a big fan of time travel and would want to watch this movie because of that of course I have heard of the movie and have been told that it is really good but I guess I have to so for myself the review you gave was very convincing so I will see the movie soon.
